I'm planning to order an S5 next month.
Not thrilled about the 4-8 month waiting period, but what can you do.
Couple questions, anyone know how long I will be waiting for a new one?

If I decide to buy a used one with under 15k on it.What should I pay? I've seen them range from 55-65k with the same options and mileage, so just a little confused.

What color combo/options are you looking for?

i just ordered an S5 last week - was promised December delivery so 4 months is consistent time frame. I agreed to pay straight MSRP from the Audi US website - i just configured what i wanted, sent it to my dealer along with 2000 deposit and whatever the MSRP listed was is waht i agreed to pay - came out to close to 60K with the stereo upgrade,upgraded paint, stainless accents, and adaptive cruise.

in my experience MSRP is a good deal - the other dealers i worked with wanted 2000 - 3000 over MSRP and they refused to budge. So if you find a dealer willing to go straight MSRP i would jump on it.
