All worth it. Heard it's the only Imola Yellow S5 in the country. Also the only S5 in the pacific Northwest. And the first in Alaska. Thanks to all who posted and made the work of art come true.

When did you car arrive?
Not the only S5 in the Pac NW, there are more than a few in the Seattle/Bellevue area already. I'm sure the first yellow though.

I was told by my dealer that Audi is not accepting special orders on the a5/S5 as of yet. Was this just a line or did you just order it according to the Audi Individual program?

of Roger Jobs Audi, Bellingham WA. Euro delivery Dec. 20. :)
your dealer is either mistaken or not being truthful. I have a daytona gray s5 coming this weekend. It's 2500 extra and might delay your wait a little.

I had asked about the colors for the Alcantara, to which I was told, only in silver or black interiors. I had another thread on this somewhere, anyways... I responded to them telling them I would like to have the Alcantara option on my Magma interior (ie- red magma alcantara inserts on the seats) under the Audi Individual (or is it Exclusive?) program. I later asked about the 20" RS4-style European option wheels for the S5, but done in the titanium grey finish, like part of the RS4 titanium package. I was told to both that Audi is not accepting any custom orders right now.
Now, I can understand if the wheels are a no go. But I thought the point of the Audi Individual (or Exclusive?) program was to get custom aspects of the car done as you see fit, so to me getting Magma red Alcantara seat inserts should totally be an option... albeit with an additional cost.
So are my requests not something done under Audi Individual (Exclusive) and the program is reserved for custom paint colors only? I would really love to know the final answer to these questions so I can figure out once and for all what the hell is going on. I appreciate your time in answering me, thanks :)
UPDATE: Justs found this on the web in regards to a special R8 in the Bergdorf Goodman Holiday Gift book 2007!
"About Audi Exclusive
Audi customers usually spend considerable time in their vehicles and wish to tailor this space according to their own individual preferences, just like their home or office.
We created the Audi Exclusive program to offer all the flexibility needed to customize your Audi vehicle to match your individual style.
Leather of the finest quality, the most exquisite woods and inlays, enchanting colors, paint finishes and a host of optional extras - you are able to choose freely from a highly exclusive range. You have a virtual carte blanche when it comes to the materials, colors and the ways in which they can be combined.
With an emphasis on high-quality and unusual materials, your Audi is an expression of you."<ul><li><a href="http://germancarscene.com/2007/11/20/audi-r8-with-custom-audi-exclusive-interior-up-for-auction/">Article on 2007 Bergdorf Goodman Audi R8</a></li></ul>
colors are a different can of worms than just ordering an Audi model with a non-standard, but regular Audi paint. What you're describing seems to fall under the Individual/Exclusive program and it's possible it's not available for North America or just not available on the A5/S5 since they probably want to manufacture them as quickly as possible. Maybe your dealer is correct about those custom options. I've looked at the UK and German audi sites and they seem to have many other options available in those markets.

Black leather option 1 with signal orange inserts and piping, which are not listed on the samples palette. This makes me think the alcantara option I am suggesting could be done perhaps. I guess it sits until someone steps up willing to goto bat for me.....

these photos of the new VW Scirocco? I love the look of this interior in a pure white car. I am thinking its Cocos Beige leather with Jet Gray stitching?
Kirk can you please find out costs for this?<ul><li><a href="http://www.desktopmachine.com/framepic.php?id=12641&size=w1920">VW Scirocco Interior (front)</a></li></ul>

Saw a yellow Porsche on the dealer's floor and requested if Audi had a yellow in their line. Lo and behold they did in the RS4 line and wala. Extra moola for the color.
