This is something I have wanted to do once I settled on my new car purchase (which I have done now, albeit the wait). In futz'ing around entertaining myself in the waiting craze everyone seems to be going through, I realized these cars can't use a traditional headrest post mount, like the one from ECS because there doesn't look to be any posts for the headrest!
Anyone interested in, thought of this or have any suggestions?

Works great and relatively inexpensive!

the camera is *outside* the car! I am not willing to mount a $1K+ HD camcorder to the outside fo my vehicle so dust, dirt and small debris can pound it while I drive a track event where I reach 100+ MPH. The lens would take a beating!
Let me re-phrase this and ask about in interior mount of some kind.....

...they make you remove floor mats and anything loose in the car. I'm sure a potential projectile affixed via suction cups will no be allowed.

My friend told me about Gorilla Pods:

Perhaps you can clamp around headrest, and then use zip ties or a belt to tighten it up, not sure how tight it will hold though.
I opted the bullet cam route. You can either put the suction cup on the front windshield, or put an extension arm to stick to the sunroof inside coming down between the seats. The bullet cam looks good, except the mount hasn't come in yet, so I will post some vids later.
Here's my setup:
