i understand from reading some post that the S5 is in short supply. wanted to know about the a5. also when building one on the audi site there is no sun roof option. I am very interested in this vehicle.

I was just talking to my friend at the audi dealer a few days ago and he said that in the southeast alone they have over 1,000 orders for A5/S5 but they are only expecting maybe a couple hundred. Pretty much he has a ton of orders for cars he doesn't have! As far as sunroof the A5 comes with a glass panoramic roof which tilts I believe but doesn't slide due to the curvature of the roof. Think BMW 6-series coupe.

Right now there are a few available cars here and there, but most of them will be (Launch Cars) that the dealers did not build. The best way to definately get what you want is to place an order now before the sold orders start to back up like they did with the S5. Even if that means ordering it sight unseen it's than deciding you want it, then placing an order too late and having no idea when its comming. Which is basically what happened to me. I was all set to order the S5 but I decided to wait until I saw the pricing on the GTR or possibly the new M3, now the It's looking like 2009 for me at the earliest.

My S4 will do nicely until then.
