Surfing is more my thing, but I will head up to PV on ocassion and hit the trails and I do the Redondo to Santa Monica strand ride a lot. I could never hang with you hard core cyclist guys though as I try to stay at sea level as much as possible while riding :)

My grandfather had a similar bike. I was trying to see if I had a pic of what it was but couldn't find it -- I think it was an ariel? I have fond memories of that bike. He would ride it with the classic leather helmet and googles. He got a few bugs in the teeth:)

Thats just such a classic classy looking bike. You just don't see that very much anymore.
