How many of you have gone with side assist?
Probably unnecessary but looks pretty cool --

Have it on the Q7.
Will have it on the S5, whenever it makes it into production.
Has worked well letting me know when someones in my blind spot. The warning lights come on dimly to let you know someone is there, and then if you use the turn signal, flashes more adamantly - you can't miss it.
Seems like the A5/S5 would have some blind spots with the design of the c-pillar / the way it looks.
If you do a lot of highway driving, I would think it's worth the $500. Also for re-sale, why go cheap on a $500 add-on to a $60k car (with taxes, etc)
