H&R makes them in three sizes 20,25,30mm. I plan to get the 20 up front and 30 rear. As the car sits now that should make all four exactly flush with the fenders. I know the wheels are slightly staggered and this will negatively effect how the car will handle while going through snow but I'm willing to try it out. Worst case scenario I get smaller ones for the rear and it is perfect. My only reason is to make the car look better to distract me from lowering the car or getting bigger and wider wheels.

Anybody else order any yet? I recall whoever put on those black wheels did it, how are they working out?

I will likely order them from madaudi.com.
anything I should know? Thanks

They include the bolts needed to mount the spacer to the hub first and the stock bolts are used to mount the wheel to the spacer.

Most spacers don't include the bolts and they have to be purchased seperately by specifying the length, etc. My friend is running H&R 20mm on his B7 and if I remember correctly, he has longer bolts that replace the stock ones.

5mm or less is the MAX you want to go without new bolts on bolt-through spacers. If they are bolt on (bolt the spacer to the hub, them bolt the wheel to the spacer) then they should come with new bolts, if they are bolt through (bolt the wheel to the hub sandwiching the spacer) the you will need to buy new, longer bolts.

... of the bolt in order for it to be secure. At least seven, but not TOO many turns, since a bolt that extends too far into the spindle may damage the ABS sensor (ABS sensors sometimes read wheel speed by measuring the elecromagnetic pulses created by the lug bolts/nuts as they spin by; other cars use teeth on the hub). With spacers over 15mm, many (if not most) spacers employ a design where the spacer bolts directly to the spindle/hub, and the wheel bolts thread into the spacer. See the picture below for the H&R Trak+ version; the large holes accommodate low-profile bolts that bolt the spacer to the spindle/hub, while she smaller holes are threaded to accept wheel bolts (I have these on the rear of the TT):

i just want the wheels pushed out to the fenders. makes the car look wider and more aggressive. I'll post pics in a couple weeks, as well as report on any changes in handling.

I put 15mm front/25mm rear on aftermarket wheels and it was a noticeable, albeit slight, difference. I felt like the car was more stable, the turn-in response seemed improved, and understeer was reduced. Not huge, but I definitely prefer it.

make a valuable comparison of handling differences with only (reasonable) street testing. Now, if we're talking 140 backwards in the rain, well...that's a different story.
