My bride gave me the go-ahead on Christmas Day and I should take delivery no later than the third week of February (the car is a demo)! Very excited <img src="http://emoticons4u.com/happy/050.gif"> <img src="http://emoticons4u.com/happy/059.gif"><ul><li><a href="http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=90704">http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=90704</a</li></ul>

Negotiated what I think is a fair deal - MSRP minus a dollar for every mile on the car at the time of delivery (estimated to be about 3,000 miles by then) plus AudiCare.

I'm excited for anyone getting one of these but is this really a good deal?
That car is going to have 3000 of the hardest miles it may ever see on it. If you are only getting a $3000 discount you are still above invoice cost, right? Let's say each test drive is 25 miles (typically less though). That means that at least 120 people have hammered on this demo car! Everyone I know that has test driven one of these has given it a good hard run or two during the unattended test drive. So much for a break in period!
It's a USED car, why pay new prices for it? If you plan to sell when the warranty is up then that's a different story. Otherwise, audi care doesn't make up for it.
Sorry to be Mr. Negetivity but it suprises me that they can get away with selling these demo units for close to full price.
