Well, I finally got my VIN number! Here are my dates. I ordered my S5 on 9/21. The assigned production week was 46. My dates kept on bouncing around (generally backwards) but yesterday I finally got my VIN number. Factory inspected was 12/19 and arrived at departure port was 12/20. The ETA's are as follows, ship loaded 1/2, port arrived 1/18, released to carrier 1/24, dealer delivered 1/28. I live in Texas so I assume it will come into Houston.

I did ask my dealer about the clutch problem noted in some of the threads. He said that Audi was having delays in some engine parts so there was a hold on production. He had not heard about the clutch issue. Don't know ... happy that mine got built though ...

if you've seen it in person, you'll know it's not a true grey color like the grey birch from the B5 S4.
