They are pretty similar in size- the Bentley may be 6" longer and a bit wider. acadia1 12-21-2007, 12:40 AM ekk_a4 12-21-2007, 05:09 AM acadia1 12-21-2007, 08:29 AM a dime a dozen, i know, it sounds crazy to hear that. But literally I see at least 1 or 2 a day, since, when the h*ll did a $180,000 car become common place. John J Szobocsan 12-21-2007, 09:22 AM If I go past the Bentley dealership the numbers increase dramatically. I too agree, when did the $180,000 car become common. Chan 12-21-2007, 09:25 AM Europa 12-21-2007, 09:38 AM Car was behind a Vanquish in valet the other day and the similarites were immediately apparent. The S5 perhaps looks less like the Vanquish (fenders) than it does a Vantage, but the cars have similar styling cues. Europa 12-21-2007, 09:47 AM I think they're getting a big chunk of what was formerly the S-Class or CL market. The Bentley is a way for people to distinguish themselves from what really is a brand with dime-a-dozen popularity (Mercedes). So these buyers were always there, they just drove M-B, which is so common that they don't stand out. "mine is nicer" Of course that could piss off the owner of 1 of them and start to bring the Ferrari 360 Modena (again) as a daily commuter. Quattrings 12-21-2007, 12:51 PM RTinNYC(again) 12-21-2007, 05:45 PM over time... I kinda already think it looks affected. brokerjoe 12-22-2007, 06:30 PM They're both coupes but the GT appears MAAAASIVE compared to the S5. I guess it could be an optical illusion (The GT is closer)but it does look much larger especially roof height.
