I miss being in an Audi, specially after dealing with electronic issues with the Mercedes.

the drive was very smooth, a good amount of power, handling was precise, the S5 is a beautiful looking car, and i really like the little LED lights on the bottom of the headlight, the sound system was B & O and sounded terrific. The interior is perfectly designed to be comfortable and beautiful.

the dealer said if i ordered one i would have it in 3 months or less.

I had a B5 audi S4 before the CLK and i miss it.

I am just wondering, what cars did people drive before the S5 or is this an addition to your garage?

Also what cars did you consider before buying the S5 and anything else that would be important?

Also pricing, anyone had to pay over or did anyone get a discount?

Also thought about a BMW 335xi, but the S5 is so much better looking inside and out. This car is fast becoming my favorite auto I've ever owned. This is my first Audi but won't be the last. I'm already thinking about selling the remaining 911 for an R8.

.... a) that's not yet clear, but a good guess would be the fall of 2009; and b) <i>whether or not we get </i>an RS5 is a valid question, because despite the strength of our market, we don't necessarily get all the good stuff. Remember that we didn't get RS4 or RS6 Avants here (we do have the RS4 Cabrio), and we didn't even get the S3.

Traded my 06 ML350 for my Phantom/Alcantara S5. But, I bought a 04 TT 3.0 for my daughter and a 06 A4 2.0 for my son and couldn't believe the quality of the Audi. When I bought the A4 the dealer had me drive an S4 for fun. I was hooked!! I got $1500 of msrp and audi care. My dealer says my wife is next, 06 C280 that's coming off lease in 6 months so I guess he trated me well with loyalty. Go for it!!!

I traded in a 2005 Audi S4. The S5 is better all around, inside and out. Wish I still had both.
