DeMOROlized 03-06-2007, 06:27 PM Troy H 03-06-2007, 06:37 PM the process fvck them up. Case in point: The door lock switch. Everyone knows that UP is unlock, DOWN is lock, and yet Audi felt necessary to flip that over for this new car?!? Troy H 03-06-2007, 09:31 PM DeMOROlized 03-06-2007, 10:08 PM Also, since LED is the "in" thing, they would definitely have mentioned it. justmack 03-06-2007, 10:39 PM You can tell the brake lights were never shown in the video because the center-high mounted brake light never comes on. The video just shows the rear driving lights and turn signals. DirtySoap 03-07-2007, 12:04 AM having the unlock button positioned the way it is, flowing right with the door handle, is actually well placed. Think of the way you grip a doorhandle, and where your thumb ends up. panj 03-07-2007, 03:25 AM Wonder when taken, is that TIP auto in the a5? Quattrings 03-07-2007, 03:37 AM Not sure what that means exactly... From Audi.USA ----> Exterior Design The flowing lines and aggressive stance stir the emotions and summons your passion for remarkable automotive design. Then it happens. You fall in love at first glance. Upon closer inspection, you begin to witness years of innovative design deceptively hidden behind a sleek, single frame grill, nestled behind the jeweled LED-styled tail lights and residing in every gleam of light emanating from the 18" aluminum wheels. DirtySoap 03-07-2007, 09:06 AM either way, if you choose to unlock the doors with the button first, then open the door or vice/versa it's anatomically well placed. If you were flicking a switch up and down, i'd agree. DirtySoap 03-07-2007, 09:08 AM but most think that the delayed intro of an auto points to dsg vplaza 03-07-2007, 10:50 AM Quattrings 03-07-2007, 01:05 PM Troy H 03-07-2007, 02:34 PM one-touch unlock, when I've forgotten and not unlocked the door or trunk or rear hatch. This is common on the cars I detail, because I've recoded both my Audis and am not used to having to do the double-tap unlock thing. So, I find myself wanting to open a door and it's locked, so I walk around, open the driver's door, reach in and stab the button. That's the only time I ever use those interior switches. |
