Anyone?

I'm thinking on getting the new BMW 335 Convertible for now, just because I want a convertible and Audi at the moment doesn't have anything that I currently like. S4 is nice, but it's a bit small, soft-top and a bit heavy.

I would buy an S5 convertible in an instant, however I don't have any information how long it might be until it's available.

So at the moment, the BMW (even though I've never owned one, mostly all Audis) hits the sweet spot in every aspect. I'm not really too happy about the exterior (it's not mean enough like the previous 3s were) but it has some elegance so it can do.

Does anyone have ANY information about S5 convertible? Even speculation will do.

I want the convertible now, but I don't want to change cars in a year. I can wait if there's information that S5 convertible will come out sometime in 2008.

Thanks.

Last July I sold my 1998 A4 2.8Qtip and bought at 2006 BMW 330 Cic, sport package, manual, ipod, etc. It's a really great car. I do miss Quattro, but the overall reduction in weight and improved weight distribution make the 330 a really entertaining drive. I haven't driven a recent Audi V6, the inline 6 in the BMW revs incredibly smoothly. It makes 1-2-3-4 gears a lot of fun when merging onto a highway.

Besides, the BMW warranty is 4 years. Buy one now and when the warranty is up, the A5 cabrio will be in its second year of production. I'm eagerly looking at the A5 or the next-gen A3 (manual+quattro?) when my 330 starts getting troublesome.
