Dual-clutch, 7-speed semi-automatic sequential for longitudinal mounted engines...

Does anyone know how DSG trannys typically handle high HP numbers? For future power boosts, I wonder if the DSG architecture will be conducive to performance mods...like how the M6 can handle superchargers, but no-go for the tip.

Anyone?

a few months ago about an upgraded dual clutch kit for the current DSG-6 (A4/5 platform) from HPA or someone else. So I think the after market will eventually offer more durable clutches just like they do now for traditional manual transmissions.

I have heard that the current VW/Audi DSG-6 is good for about 250 lb ft in stock form, good enough for a stage I+ 2.0 T.

then I think the DSG design is good for high hp/torque numbers. I guess we just don't know how much power Audi (or BorgWarner) designed the DSGs they use in their cars for.
