Nothing really new that we haven't all heard or discussed but interesting anyway. They seem confused about the intent of the S5 - some comparisons to the CLK.

Got me thinking about the RS5 with a V10? and a 6-Speed. Can only imagine how fast that combination could be... Hey Audi - since the A5/S5 Geneva intro is blown, maybe the RS5 can make a debut next to the new M3?

Edmunds

I don't understand why they act like it's horribly underpowered compared to the CLK. It may have less hp, but who cares if it's quicker? And mentioning the AMG model which is priced at $20k+ what the S5 will likely be priced at just seems stupid.

apparently the space to fit it under the hood of the A5 body unlike the current A4 body. Installing the V10 in the RS5 would be as groundbreaking as when the S4 received a V8 engine and caused BMW's M3 to have to 'follow' for once. I think it would be a very smart move for Audi both for the recognition and respect that the car would generate, not to mention the performance that we would see. We should have an answer soon, if not in Geneva, hopefully in New York.
