Audi is claiming 7.6 second 0-62 time for the V6. I'm sorry but mid 7's isn't cutting any more IMO. Seems like the S5 will be too expensive, and the regular A5 will be too slow. Audi always does this to me :-(

Even the 2.0T in the heavy B7 can do 7.1s.

My current car does low-sixes which I sometimes find slow. I don't speed as much as I used to, so a low six-second time combined with a below $50K (Fully Loaded)price will probably get me to the Audi dealership this fall.

5.1 seconds 0-100 KMH (4.9 seconds 0-60 MPH) for the S5 (six-speed stick; S5 is Quattro only). 6.1 seconds 0-100 KMH (5.9 seconds 0-60 MPH) for the A5 3.2 with optional Quattro and standard six-speed stick). 7.6 seconds 0-100 KMH (0-60 MPH in 7.4 seconds) is for the 2.7 TDI with either six-speed stick (which I love) or CVT (which I don't care for) and front wheel drive (which I really hate).

A5 3.0 TDI does 0-100 KMH in 5.9 seconds (0-60 MPH in 5.7 seconds) with a six-speed stick. A5 3.0 TDI is Quattro only (THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!).
