So, at least longitudinally, it's pretty close to the size of a 3 series coupe.

About an inch longer overall, but very slightly smaller wheelbase.

That is, unless Audi goes berserk & price it as a 6-series competition.

they'll have to price it like the A4, mabye just a bit higher. If they price the V6 close the the 335 coupe, i'll get the 335 for sure.

Looks like it has close to 2 inches more front seat headroom than the A4 as well. I think this platform will suit me well.

S5 dimensions:
Wheelbase: 108.3"
Overall length: 182"
Overall width: 73"
Overall height: 54.1"

Sure, it has 4 doors, but it should have a prominent coupe profile like the CLS.

If any folks cross-shop the BMW 6 series with the MB CLS then the A7 will fit nicely into the mix.

If they never cross shop those two vehicles (I wouldn't know.... WAY out my league) then the 6 series will go without any comperable competion from Audi.

I'm just trying to keep optimistic about it. I just hope they have the smarts to keep it competitively priced.
