It's a sexy looking car, no doubt. But I'm not interested unless there's a muscular TDI engine under the hood. I've been driving VW TDI's for years and eagerly await an Audi TDI in the USA.

My moderately tuned 1.9 TDI is making 160 hp and 280 ft/lbs. MB sells the 3.2 CDI making 369 ft/lbs from the factory (440 with just a chip). These modern diesels just kick gasoline's ass (as evidenced by the R10 on the track) and it's time we get them in street cars on this side of the pond.
