As for LED tails the close-up from the "leaked" pics doesn't look LED to me at all.

Same reason it doesn't bleed to the outside area, there's just a divider there.

I would expect an LED setup to have more even lighting. It looks like there are areas that are much brighter than others in that tail light. To me, it almost looks like there's a single bulb in the right portion of the light being reflected around to the other parts of the reverse "c" shape.

Maybe the S5 has LED lights.
