So far, it appears that the new A5 will not retain the same shaped C pillar or flared fenders of the concept car, not to mention the 600bhp twin-turbo V10. Although a normally aspirated V-10 has been mentioned. Fxhomie 02-14-2007, 06:32 AM notice how the C pillars are darkened, where the surrounding areas aren't (especially right side C pillar) What's it mean? Maybe nothing...or maybe Audi is throwing one last camo at the general public. So maybe, just maybe, the A5 will have the Nuvolari C-pillars. We'll see in 19 days... Quattrings 02-14-2007, 07:29 AM Less=More=Audi 02-14-2007, 08:48 AM I think it's because the lighter parts face upwards, the darker part's don't. Just how you would expect lighting to behave, nothing special. Cheers, TwentyValveB5+S4 02-15-2007, 07:53 AM RallyVermont 02-15-2007, 02:36 PM Quattrings 02-16-2007, 06:33 AM on the TT and A3. The longitudinal configurations on the rest of the line are too long in relation to where the axle sits on the tranny and the forward point of the engine. Both BMW/Mercedes being RWD cars don't have this problem like Audi does. My C6 has a super long schnooz... So long it gets in the way when parking and causes me to have to 'adjust' my parking style compared to other cars that I drive. RallyVermont 02-16-2007, 10:37 AM |
