How important is it for the participating dealer to have experience in ED? I have only two Audi dealers within a 100 mile radius and both acknowledge having done no Audi ED's. Is that a problem or is the dealer's role not critically important to the overall experience? The bottom line is should I forget ED just because the dealer is a noob to the process?

I just found myself following up with my dealer on a consistent basis to make sure nothing fell through the craks. Also, get in touch with Kathy Bis @ Audi European Delivery to help along with the process.
Even if the process requires a little more effort on your part, it is well worth it. You will not be disappointed in the whole experience.
BTW, the delaer does not have that great of a part in the whole preocess. You place the order with them and AoA does most of everything else.
Good Luck

It will probably be their last because they are such a greedy bunch of bastards. Their excuse is they don't make as much money on an ED and they lose an allocation. Be happy you found a dealer that will do it.
