I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but under the heading of The Audi European Delivery price of your vehicle includes the following services, the following line was recently removed:

* Destination charge for transportation of your vehicle from the Audi vehicle-processing center to your selected Audi Dealer

Prior to the edit, the above quoted line was listed between the bullets about wharf charges and roadside assistance.

European Delivery Program Benefits

On a $40K car, that's only a $2K discount which is probably the same deal you can get negotiating. I don't kno wabout MB but BMW dealers definitely negotiate prices beyond the 7% ED discount. I was offered 10% off MSRP at my BMW dealer before I started talking numbers and ended up with an 11.8% discount off MSRP. For BMW cars, destination charge is same for ED and non-ED cars. I think MB still does not charge destiantion on ED cars and gives you 7% off on qualifyting vehicles.

Audi needs to sweeten their deal if they expect to get more takers.
