I was told that a european DVD will not work with our navigation system that will be U.S. spec.......something to do with software issues and the MMI. Does anyone have any ideas on how to retro-fit our nav. system to take a euro DVD? I was told it was something that is currently being worked out and will be available in 07.

It sure would be nice to have the euro DVD installed when we take European delivery early next month and travel around for a few weeks.

Did you manage to get a compatible DVD for your travels? We are planning on ordering an A4 Avant for June delivery... which dealer/sales rep did you go through? (We are in portland, but would gladly consider a Seattle dealer if it made sense from a price/service perspective.)
