Hello, I am new to the forums. I decided to join to discuss my recent inquiry into modifying a 3.6 V8 with turbochargers. Yesterday I found this product:

It became clear to me that my V8 is capable of much more than 240hp. Another friend of mine then mentioned that Garret T3/T4 turbos are available new for under $200. It would seem easy to make 100 additional hp with 5 pounds of boost. He recently boosted a 2.5 BMW six, here is his website for that:

I guess the car breaks the tires loose easily at 40mph with LSD.

I have a 1990 V8Q and was wondering if anybody eles has boosted a V8 or modified a V8 for more power and what any problems/ issues they had were or any advice for me they might have.

might as well lower the compression to run a little more boost, too. definitely a huge project, though.
