I'll receive my radar detector (Bel 975E) in some days, and I'm searching for the best way to install it.

I hope to not remove the front bumper to install the antenna, but in any case, any one here with instructions how to remove the front bumper and the front luggage trim compartment???

And for the power, which fuse or where did you get power to your detectors?

I used the upper left hand corner slot next to the 5 and then 10 amp fuses. It's above the four forty amp fuses that lay horizontally. (logic says this should be slot #1, but when it comes to car wire harnesses, there's often no logic at all!)

Put a small male spade plug on the end of your power wire and then push the plug into the lower of the two open slots where the fuse legs would go in.

If you plug into the top slot, you'll not get any juice.
