My R8 has been in the factory order bank for about two weeks now, and I'm scheduled to pickup the S5 at the factory 22 Sep. Which one will hit the dealership first? How long does an R8 sit in the factory order bank?

As much as I love the APR R8, I really don't need two R8's.

This process can be painfully slow. My car passed factory inspection on June 18, (at least that was what I was told). It may or may not be on a boat now, and the latest estimate for arrival is late August, although after the stories I have been given so far, I am not inclined to believe that either. When a car is in demand like this, there is little or no motivation to keep the customer informed or to hit any sensible delivery dates.
