$57,900 !!!
That price will never fly for just a supercharger setup.

There already is another alternative to MTM. The R8 Kompressor by "Novidem". But its price too is ridiculous at 32,500 Euro. These prices will never fly. Why price something where you will get 6 sales total, when you price it a little less and you can sell over 100, and also multiply your profits many, many times? It costs them at most about 10,000 Euro to produce such a supercharger. The retail price should be in the 17,000- 21,000 Euro range. Then everybody wins. Kinda interesting when flagrant greed turns a realistic business situation into a big loser for everyone involved. But I'm sure that these ridiculously exaggerated prices will invite some quality and realistic competition to fill the Well, there already is another alternative to MTM. There is nothing unique about Novidem or MTM as to their understanding about superchargers. And if the hi valued Euro is a major problem, then I'm sure that a quality USA supercharger manufacturer like TPC Racing will step in and make an even better one for much less money.void. and secondly, the V10 R8, which will make 97% of the same numbers as the LP560, will cost about 50K less than both the LP and the SC V8 R8 and come with a full warranty and a ring time less than the ZR1's.

would even talk to you about an R8, and the Lambo would be with warranty.

I wonder what Audi would do if you blew the tranny with a supercharger on the motor. I have a feeling you'd be out another 50k!

Nuts.

Shows how much you know about the Lambo market. 08 Spyders are retailing for 250k. And I'm not arguing SC R8 vs. V10 R8 either (whose ring time is STILL speculation).

Good luck finding that 210k Lp560 buddy.<ul><li><a href="http://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/Search/DRauSearchResults.aspx?makeid=41&amp;makename=Lamborgh ini&amp;modelname=Gallardo&amp;modelid=13&amp;catid=1">dupontregistry.com</a></li></ul>

Which will offer the same, if not better performance. Let's also not forget that it will have full warranty coverage and be better engineered.

quit being a jacka$$. you mark up the LP560 in your post, but don't do the same with the others. the 599 is fetching 500K in miami. and the GT2 is fetching 250K for the first order at champion porsche in ft. lauderdale. finally, if you really tally up the R8 then you'd have to calculate 175k out the door for a typical marked up example and then add the 60K for the SC... you've got 235K.

you don't know what you're talking about.

in order to make standardized arguments regarding prices in these things you have to be talking apples to apples.

the SC doesn't make sense unless you have some money to burn for a fun project.

All market prices. The point I'm making is still the same, the OP mentioned he'd rather get cars whose prices are significantly north of the s/c R8, and my post was to point out that you can't compare a s/c r8 to a lp560, which is almost 100k apart in price. what are you arguing here? I'm not saying the S/C R8 is a good investment, I too would wait for the V10.

first off 32,500.00 EUR = 50,562.81 USD and for anyone looking to purchase... spending an extra 7k at MTM would be the logical step for many reasons.
