k so i left on vacation for two weeks, and when i came home to start my baby, something was wrong, the engine sounded like it was regurgitating like it was out of gas or something, the revs were going up and down and sputtering until the engine died.... i started it again and as i was trying to back it up there were popping noise coming from the front(most likely the breaks sticking) and yes i took the e-break off... the good thing is that after driving it for a little bit, the car was okay, but im still worried.... any help would b greatly appreciated, ty

at least among Porsches. the pads stick to the rotors after sitting for long periods, nothing to worry about. The starting thing may just be due to the direct injection setup. I think audi has a memo out about the direct injection cars might act a bit odd sometimes on cold starts (black smoke, rich smell, popping in the exhaust, rough or high idle for a minute or two, etc).
if i leave my car undriven for more than 3 days the same thing happens, though it has never shut off. and it does these antics for about 5 seconds. then it's ready to rock. the brakes can get sticky after a wash and then left overnight. no biggie.
its almost like the car is a badass monster waking up from a nap in a grumpy mood, farts, burps, blows its nose, and finally says "ok, let's go".
