Currently I have a RS6. Been a blast to drive, when it wasn't in the shop every other month for repairs. I was thinking about keeping it when the R8 arrives, because i'm sure i will miss it when it is gone, but on the other hand when the entire service staff at audi knows you by first name, it's not a good thing!
Has anyone decided to keep their RS6 in addition to the R8
For those that traded, do you miss the RS6 at all?

I had an RS6. Though I traded it a few cars back, you will never miss it compared to the R8. The RS6 is a tub, you will never even remember the car after having an R8. I've had my R8 for 5 months.

I have had an RS since Oct of 02 and purchased an R8 about five weeks ago.
R8 is killer - especially for just myself or when one of my daughters needs to go somewhere.
RS is still a great "family drive". Covers pretty much every aspect of transportation I can need.
Bonus on the R8 - it gets better mileage. I'm averaging 16.

A set of coilovers, a flash, and exhaust and it handles and can pull on M5's, E63's etc... it is still one impressive car.

could easily see having both, which I may end up doing if I back away from my S5 purchase and keep my RS6 for another couple of years. I kinda enjoy being on a first name basis with the entire service department and it gives me great opportunities to try out other Audi products as loaners (new TT, Q7, A8, A4s, and waaayyy too long with a couple of A6s). Not much replaces the RS6 though for when you need space for more than 2 people.

It's okay for hauling people, but it's not a sports car. Too heavy, ponderous, and not nimble.
I had one, along with both versions of M5, and honestly, It never impressed me. I'd take an S5 or S6 anyday. The R8 is in another league.

upgrade the turbos and yes. Chip it and it may hang a car length up to about 100 or so..here is a gallardo that can not pull an e60 M5. the kelleners M5 can pull an F430. SO if you think your RS6 chipped can pull an 06 gallardo, then maybe it can pull an M5, but I doubt it...
I own a 360 spider, which is about 200lbs heavier than the hardtop, and my brothers M5 pulls a car on me to 100, and vice versa when we switch. My RS4 is near head to head upto about 55, than the M5 walks it..and I mean walks it big time. Still, the RS4 with stasis is more fun to drive.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fA5uEaW5ZnQ</a
