anyone know anything about it? I'm looking for a new exhaust and saw this...it looks like it comes with some sort of programmable electronic box. It also appears as thought the system is valved. for when you want to be rowdy. In addition to their exhaust system, Capristo gives you control over when this valve is opened. So not only do you get the more aggressive sound of the Capristo in general, but you control it's relative loudness via the switch. You can also set it to open at a certain preset rpm in advance.

Quite popular in the Lambo/Ferrari/Porsche circles. Pricey though.

I figure that they all sound slightly different even though they do the same basic thing. Kinda like a french horn or trumpet sounds slightly different. Does anyone here have a capristo? The qulaity seems really amazing from their website.

But in video I do like Capristo and Kriesig (sp?) for their high pitched wail.

No comment on the R8, as I haven't heard a modified exhaust on the R8. To me, the lack of drone and the ability to open it up at will is an atraqctive feature of Capristo.

Maybe go search Lambpower and other lambo sites, as well as Ferrari and Cayman sites?
