When I went back to Neckarsulm today for the R8 production tour, I got some pictures of the CF lip spoiler and diffuser. They said these two parts are currently available in Europe, but may not be available for order in the US market. Those of you with CF side blades may want to consider these small touches. They look really good in person (even if you do have to almost get under the car to see the diffuser)

I asked about the CF steering wheel option and they replied that they had been planning to release one, but the CF would deteriorate due to the sun and wouldn't be released after all. Apparently the steering wheel has to be produced using a different method than other CF pieces and that was the reason for long term deterioration. <Edit> I saw a picture of a Gallardo with a flat bottomed steering wheel where the bottom was CF. I have no idea if this will be available, but would look great in the R8...

The diffuser was hard to get a good picture of because the car is so low.

I saw another V10 up close - this time a black one. It didn't have the CF mirror housings, but it did have the correct front and rear bumpers, and oh, what a sound!!

John, I have a small request for you if that is not a problem:
-can you find out what is ordering code for Carbon Package for R8 and its Euro price?
-also order code and price for Titanium 19" wheels that are on that Suzuka Grey R8 in Neckarsulm?
-did you took and picture of Bucket seats in that R8? They are in special color(Classic Red) so, it could be interesing for members here to see how they look in special color...

That Classic Red looks interesting...

...steering wheel, NOT Alcantara.
Since suede is very prone to wear my advice is against it big time. You should see the way suede steering wheels looks on my friends RS4 after only 10months...
