It wasn't faster than the current R8 anyhow, now it's has less power. How do they plan to market this? Even though it will deliver better mileage the performance has to be similar if not better to justify the car to me.

From what he has said is seems like there are several zipping around already.

The V10 is as real as the RS6 Avant. They even drove off together - the RS6 as the chase vehicle...

I confirmed that today - the R8 roadster has been built. I did not see it, but was told the top is similar to the Gallardo Spyder. Apparently they needed to slightly lengthen the wheelbase to make it work.

It is a roadster and not a targa.

Apparently the only R8 roadster is locked away in a room that only a few people can access. Makes you wonder what color it is.... :)
