R8 Training was held on 4/4 & 5. What gives? Where are all the glowing words from the dealer Reps who attended training.

All I will say is that for those of you that have been waiting what seems a lifetime, it will be well worth it.

give us a reference point - I assume you're an Audi salesman - do you have experience with other 100K+ sports cars? What impressed you so much about the R8? We want details! Also curious, did they have any of the competitive cars there for you to compare against?

I agree with Alan, share some perspective here. At the TT training they had Z350, Cayman, and a Mercedes model for comparison driving.
What psuedo competitors of the R8 did they have to test drive? Which road course did you use? How many laps, etc, etc. Any new info presented in the training sessions?

So training like this takes a chunk out of their paycheque short term. To offset that, they need to inform customers who might come in while they are away, and make arrangements. Any time they ask someone to do a task they would normally do, they must return the favour, or in the case of another salesperson, share half the deal.

Then when the ABS returns, they need to take care of all the outstanding items, and scare up a bunch of new clients to make up for the downtime. Weekends are the best for that.

I suspect we'll see reports this coming week.
