This is extremely funny too me, and very very telling of the appeal the R8 gives the Audi brand as my dad has NEVER liked audis, and never considered buying one in the past 30 years Yet he wants a car he has never driven, made by Audi for 130K that isnt a P-car, Bentley or AM. Very telling of what the R8 will do for Audi's perception as I love the R8 but I am an audi guy and its easy for me to say I like and never truly knew if the R8 would appeal to the target market of Porsche owners like my father. I of course told him to order one now even though Ill probably be out of the country before he even gets it. Just some random thoughts.

I think the R8 is a beautiful vehicle. I ordered one with all the options and told delivery is Sept-Oct. The US version does not offer all the options the European model has. Car is $135K with all US options.
