i know lots of you guys are interested in driving the car. for now i will share what i know. there will be a couple of VIP drive events around the country in the next few months. one of them will be in amelia island in florida. i am not sure if these will be by regional invite or not or whether they will be based on general public accessibility. at this point my gestaldt is that audi is reserving test drives for those who are actually on a list, have given a deposit, and have given every indication that they want to buy the car. it doesn't appear as though audi will be providing demo cars for dealerships. if they ever do offer demo cars they will do it a la aston martin with the zero series cars that are being used now for publicity events being forwarded to the top dealerships. best of luck. it seems to me that the majority of people who drive it for the first time will be driving their own.
