there's a dealer who has a new black 6 speed (manual) priced at $128K (somebody backed out)- it's a twin of my car, all the performance goodies, none of the Porsche optional crap - e-mail me if interested and I'll hook you up - but it'll probably be sold today so hurry if interested.

in to order one. She says she has 47 people on her waiting list, will only get two R8s in 07, blah blah blah. The guys gets all pissed and says "no way would I wait two years for a stupid Audi. I'll just buy another Porsche." She says she wouldn't wait two years for a Porsche and that is that. After her story I go two doors down to Porsche dealer and they have THREE 997 Turbos. I was thinking about how I am now seeing a couple of 997 TTs per week on the road and it hit me - if you snag an R8 you might not be as fast, but dang you are going to be a lot more special than your neighbor in a 997 TT.
