I was very surprised to see an R8 on the street already. He was pulled over by an unmarked police car. The funny thing was that the officer (in plain clothes) was talking to the driver through the passenger window. He didn't have any papers in his hands. This leads me to believe he pulled him over just to get a good look at the car. :)

FWIW, my current '04 2.7T has been perfect, a HUGE contrast to my problem-child '00. Audi's reliability is getting demonstrably better, even according to our friends (?) at Consumer Reports. (see link below)
