So one could make statements about the S3 and the R8. But why? It really comes down to whether you have $$ to buy an R8, RS4, S3, etc. I would guess most folks with the $$ would go for the R8. At the RS4 and above price levels, it's no longer a question of bang for the buck... They were concerned about the R8 slashing Gallardo sales. That is why the 4.2 debuts first and ten comes later, but alas it will still be the FSI 5.2 not 5.4/5.6 variation.
