Approximately 100k is my guess.

The R8 is more expensive in Germany than the S8. The S8 starts at 92k here. I think Audi will start out at around 95k, but I think that they will bring some of the European options as standard (LED headlights/free carbon fiber panel)

I just did a quick price out without coming close to going 'click crazy' and it ended up at 106K. 2007 911C4S.


Here' comes Audi with the R8 that, to me, easily covers the C4S in all aspects... if its the same or a little more money- i'll be happy.

My best guess would be around $85k for the V8.

Once you go up against the iconic 911 Turbo (in terms of MSRP) the whole game changes. I wouldn't even think twice about it...the moment I can afford a 911TT I'm sold...I've wanted one for probably 20 years now!

RS4 reasonably equipped is already $100K here and the dealers are thinking $140K is about the ballpark figure for the R8.
