Anyone?

This would tie in with the AWD system the R8 would use... if Torsen- i dont think the R8 can have different diameter tires front/back. But if Haldex- it can, right?

I didn't realize it at first as underneath the car was quite dark. What would be the reason for this.

BTW. I higly doubt its haldex.

i think less drag and drivetrain loss than Torsen too.


Reason for wider width tire in the rear... more weight back there, good for putting the power down to the ground, narrower tires up front good for reduced aero drag, better for handling balance....
* Plus- it looks cool! ;D

Ferrari F30, Lambos etc all have narrower up front.

Lots of folks run staggered fitment on the TT but keep the same (or close enough for Haldex) rolling diameter front to back.
