was first in line for an RS4 locally.

got to see it. read about it. meet one of it's chief engineers for over an hour in the "audi cafe". got waited on by cute girls. learned all the insider stuff. and then i get told the car is a year away from being driven off the showroom floor in the US.

at least i learned that based on my timing and readiness for a new car i should just go for the S4.

for now at least, i don't want to get so close to it and then hear about delays again while stuffing myself with patisseries et cafe cremes.

i'd rather turn my computer off and go drive my S4 in case of any bad news.

BTW- i'd still go to paris anyway if i didn't have so much going on in my life right now :p

There would be 2 ways that I would go to Paris...

1. Audi gave me the opportunity, paid for my ticket, hotel accomodations, passes, etc.

2. There were car specifications released, there was a price and release date, and I was definitley planning on purchasing the car.

As these two circumstances are unapparent at the time, I am not going to Paris. But i will certainly watch it on TV and smile alot :)

There are too many awesome restaurants in Paris- just cannot lose. But check out Bouchet- I had an unforgettable meal there last July
