1. conventional tires. not PAX (though maybe an option?) i wonder if audi would provide a full size spare in the case of the former. if they do despite their intensive efforts to spare weight i think audi would be a star. front look like 20 rear like 21.

2. carbon brakes.

3. WICKED rims. the RS4 guys will be vying for those. and with good reason.

4. that side panel. it had better be silver.

Pretty nice setup and probably straight off the Gallardo.

It's really hard to see much difference in the sheet metal between the R8 and LMq, some minor detailing changes (exhaust, number of slats in the grilles, etc) but the sheetmetal looks very close to the concept.

Do you think ceramic brake discs will be standard on the R8?? That would be sweet...

First of all, the stance of the car is absolutely stunning. From the Front to the Rear view, everything looks compact and purposeful. At first the width between the tailpipes bothered me but that rear shot makes it look menacing as hell!

- I agree with RXBG. They HAVE to keep that silver aluminum side panel. It serves as a touch of uniquness.

- I cant wait to see the outline of the tail lights and headlights when they are uncovered.

- Those weels look BRUTAL. BRUTAL. I wonder how big they are, they look massive.

- The brakes look like they can stop a locomotive. Carbon Ceramic brakes might just be NEEDED to stop this machine.

- Kind of confused on some aspects of the rear. Is there a brakelight above the engine bay at the top of the rear winshield? Is there another brakelight near the bottom of the rear diffuser? I think it would be awesome to have a brakelight integrated into the rear spoiler but then, the spoiler isn't always engaged. (Maybe when backing up the spoiler would engage with a brakelight, that could be cool)

I can't wait to see the car on the road. I can imagine crusin' at around 35-40 in light traffic seeing this car in front of me. Then as the traffic dies down and the cars start moving, the spoiler comes up at around 70 and you see the thing disappear into the distance. Badass.

The light on the diffuser is probably the fog light, the mk2 TT has a similar rear fog light.

... don't be too surprised if it's offered with a customer choice of finishes. Like meebe body color, contrast color. Why you never know, possible even ceramic-coated glass-blasted/micro brushed aluminum. Or maybe even one or two more choices.

with that kind of rubber i know there is no way that car only makes 420 hp.

more like 450 or more. we're talking ferrari-level engineering here from that little V8.
