miami show will be right after the paris show. i wonder if audi will bring the R8 to show in the US then. likely not since they will put all their resources into paris and not bother with a teeny show like miami.

also. my first dream car was the NSX. i'll never forget the sleepless nights. the first time i saw one on the streets of LA. and even outlining one on one of the walls of my bedroom so i could get an idea of its proportions!

is it normal to feel like i am in high school still? this time it's the R8. though i haven't yet drawn on my wall.

some similarities between the NSX and R8

all aluminum
mid engined
exotic perfomance at half the price
gorgeous

but the R8 is so much more----

quattro

and (for me) attainable.

NSX is really beautiful, and I've once come near to buy one.

NSX had the best shift feel and very rigid suspension like a truck, but I also felt it cramped on the seat as in a truck. They have wide rear tires, but they wear very fast, because the nice engine drives the rear alone. I felt the rear drive one not stable but precarious, and I was afraid that I might drive myself into a fatal accident...

Gallardo was beautiful and stable, and R8 must be nice. I'm dreaming, too. :-)

My first dream car that I owned was the 1991 NSX- it was unbelievable to drive... The sound of the engine above 6000 RPM was so sweet and the handling surgically precise. I expect the R8 to be better- much better. In addition to fabulous performance and an engine with soul- nobody does interiors like Audi. The lines on the car are gorgeous...
Gonna be quiet on this forum until Paris....

So you mean the TT convertible will debut in LA. The R8 won't have the world debut in LA, but it might have the US debut there.
