I am looking to buy used. Ibis is obviously a rare color, ibis with ti almost impossible to find. Do any of you know the cost to purchase and install ti trim? I presume wheels would have to be painted or replaced as well to take them to the ti color, which is certainly not an insurmountable problem.
With any luck I will be hanging out here permanently sooner than later.

The front grill can be purchased or painted. The trim around the doors can be replaced(as seen in link) and the wheels can be purchased or painted. The muffler can be painted or ceramic coated and rear bumper trim can be painted body color or black. Mickf29 is in the process of doing the whole conversion.

oempl.us

Nice blackout RS, by the way. I notice your seats have harness holes. Are you in Europe?

I had all 4 summer and all 4 winter wheels painted black though, to get actual ti paint done is near impossible I was told by the paint shop, if you are trying to match some other parts already on the car.
The mirror shells, front grill ring and the rear bumper trim cost me $540 to have painted, including taking off the front bumper to get to the ring.
The wheels were $75 to prep and paint each, $300 for a set of 4.
The window trim cost me $760 shipped with a 10% discount. I haven't received yet so don't know cost to install. Guessing $4-500.
The exhaust tips can be cut off and replaced with blacked, or if you get a Milltek or other exhaust, you can order with black tips. I have yet to do this but hope to in May/June time frame.
In the end to convert is about $2100 plus the exhaust tips.
Don't buy ti wheels, they are running $760 each, unless you can find some used somewhere.

I hope to move up to an Ibis RS4 in 2 years or so...but we'll see.
(I think I'd be happy with Avus or Daytona, too)

We've had prior convos on the forums about our cars. I saw you at Barber, but didn't realize it was you since you were driving your BMW. I was one of the volunteers - I mainly worked the 'grid'.

not exact match as I did own an extra set of factory titanium wheels later, and they had a little more of a greenish hue to them, but this link will show you pre and after paint. The 1st pic in the link is before any of the work was even started.

http://forums.audiworld.com/rs4b7/msgs/27031.phtml

Unless the car was ordered with Carbon or Aluminum, Titanium pkg cars came standard with the piano black interior trim pieces.
The black headliner would be a pain to retrofit, and probably pretty expensive.
When you think of all you get in the Ti pkg from the factory it's a real bargain for only $750! One would probably spend 3x that much to replicate it fully.

much less the ti package. White cars seem to be asking a premium, and frankly the sellers may get a premium over more common colors.

get the interior spayed from aluminum to gloss black. Should be easy and cost less than the trim new. Forget about the headliner. That is just overboard.

If your goal is to create a replica of titanium trim model, then I guess it makes sense; or if you just really like piano black or don't like CF. However, I suspect piano black is very hard to do right, and there would be a strong risk of messing up the CF trim and having it look worse. IMO, the interior aspect of ti trim are not an improvement. Others may differ.
My goal is just to delete the chrome trim on the exterior. I never liked it on my S4 and I don't like it on the RS either.
Your car is rockin' right now. Remember that these cosmetic projects need to have an ending. There is always a risk of going one step too far. Even Picasso had to know when his paintings were done, and when one more brush stroke would be one too many.
