Took the kids to the snow this weekend. My in-laws live in Twain Harte (3 hours east of San Francisco). Last week, it snowed nearly a foot and it began melting mid-week. So, the tires were fine for the dry road conditions.

looks like the front bumper height needs a little adjustment upwards, a little too much gap between the grille and hood IMO.
it's a tiny issue, but a real pain to fix. it would drive me nuts! It should be tight like this...

I also love Avus in titanium trim, consider some Ti rims/vinyl wrap for chrome trim and blacked out front license plate holder. Just my 2c worth ;)

Cheers. Great mods btw ;)
A pic of my old Avus with Ti rims.

I had an accident nearly 2 years ago. They were unable to close that gap.

Canuck - Reviewed your CC Mod. The adjusters are located in the open holes between the grill and headlamps? Just turn them? Don't need to loosen any of the other hardware across the grill area? Will this bring the gill up along with the bumper. My grill and bumper could use to come up just a bit, too. Maybe a couple, 3 mm to close up the gap.

Thanks

The adjusting bolts are only really accessible for leveling if you take off the bumper entirely. I would turn each bolt 1/2 to 1 turn up or down each side and see how it looks before re-tightening everything. It's a real PITA to get the bumper off (headlights need to be loosened also), just depends how badly you want the gap adjusted. It's almost impossible to explain the whole process, you just have to dive in with the right tools and go for it.
