I have to give the RS4 back in june, and simply can't think of anything else that has all wheel drive handles well and has lots of hp.
I realize i'm going to gag every time I get out walk away and look back at it, but hey there's nothing else out there...is there?

then that's an extra 20k. I really wanted one of these until I started to read about the warranty waver.

It is even uglier in real life than in pics. NO WAY I HELL I would spend so much on a car that is this ugly. Even the interior design is ugly. Compare this to the 350Z which doesn't have a single bad angle, and you really wonder what the hell Nissan was thinking.

...and surprisingly, the new one with the re-code (to lower the launch control rpms) is even faster than the old one.
It gets a lot of attention, even by SoCal standards. (That means the CHP knows about them, too...) Goodbye sleeper status, for sure. :)<ul><li><a href="http://blogs.edmunds.com/roadtests/2009/02/2009-nissan-gt-r-reprogrammed-our-gt-r-gets-quicker.html">Linky</a></li></ul>

2009 Dodge Viper SRT ACR
Super limited prodution...might (very, very likely) be the last year of production.
I have one (+ another 2008 coupe - non ACR and a convertible)...it is like no other car. Raw, fast, and 600 HP.<ul><li><a href="https://www.woodhouse.com/results.htm?Stock=C91120&blank=&x=43&y=8#Stock.is. I always thought the 350Z is very american looking and lost so much appeal relative to the previous Fairlady model which is still one of the best looking cars on the road. The FT-R is just the opposite - truly japanese design aethstetics. Not subtle and adn trying to be 'pretty', but to me it looks awesome.

Plus I like looking at the RS4. It doesn't make me want to hurl.

It's hideous but in an interesting/menacing way. I would honestly have trouble sitting in that cockpit, though. I think it's a total disaster in there.
There's nothing that really peaks my interest on the market right now...

I actually owned a 350Z and thought it was one of the most gorgeous cars on the road, regardless of price. I find the GT-R to be choppy in its aesthetics and while the inerior materials are top notch, the design looks like an early 80's design. It's almost as if they went for a retro-modern look, but didn't quite get it right.
To each his/her own. There are people that probably think a Prius is good looking too.

That would be me :) There form follows function and looks great. There is no exercise in 'design' for 'looks', and I appreciate it. Exactly same can be said about the RS4, this is why I own one.

Audi I believe puts tremendous emphasis on aesthetics. A given function can be achieved with many different "forms", and some are just better looking than others. I do believe that the design of the RS4 went beyond just form for the purpose of function.
I just like clean integrated lines, and to my eyes, this is achieved in both the RS4 and the 350Z.

If someone could chime in how much 30k services for the 997TT, Gallardo, etc I'll be interesed. I know that a 60k service for a 03 M5 is under 1k.
