Some of us have childhood trauma that is tied into red buildings with white trim...probably tortured in barns as children...we don't remember...but the mere sight of the color scheme sends us into panic attacks...

I know living in a new development with unpaved roads doesn't help.

Trying to keep that car clean would be a losing battle.

My parents have a house at the beach on a dirt/sand/pebble road and when I visit I usually wind up parking on the side street and walking in.

My father washes his car on Sundays and when he leaves for work on Monday morning it is filthy again within 100 ft.

Frustrating.

I have a painting of a giant moth, painted by the wife of a friend of mine. I commissioned it when I heard she had a mortal fear of moths... Turns out she was molested in a shed that had a lot of moths in it...hmmm.

They should have had base materials down, subbase and binder for roads before allowing people to move in so that it looks nice, although, not quite finished. They just have the subbase, the crushed stone. I'm guessing the driveways will be done with concrete, which, again, should have been done already.

but the base, should be more than just stone. It should look paved even before the top coat is down. The concrete for sidewalks and driveways should be done early, right after the house is complete.

unless you were from Tuscon, I suppose).

My oversight...forgot to switch gears from the Canadian forum.

Now go shoot some hookers in GTAIV.

There's a pipe in there (access to water main????)... anyway the landscaping is to be done in a month or so. My section is 3 of 3, the other 2 sections are completely done, so yes, mine looks a little dirty... did anyone else notice the unfinished siding???

First home owner, first audi owner (and it's an RS 4)... could life be better? I don't care about a temporarily unfinished driveway.

Roger that, and thanks! It's actually gorgeous with all the luxuries on the inside, and I don't share those childhood traumas. ;)
