A couple of days ago, I posted some pics of my custom quad tip Milltek exhaust. While I love the overall look, sound, and performance gain, the tips needed just a bit of extra finish work, so I took it upon myself to complete the task.

Being big, open and slanted ever-so-slightly upwards, one can very easily see inside the tips. Now I know that after some time, they will basically turn carbon black, but wouldn't it be nice to do something just a bit different.

So....I brushed the inside of the tips. This gives them a more finished look and really catches the light nicely when clean on a sunny day. Check out the two before pics with the two after pics. I also polished up the whole muffer assembly a bit and it makes a subtle yet noticeable difference.

This may be overkill to some, but I am one of those fanatics where details make the difference.

Thought you were going to powdercoat black, but I think they look nice. Will you repolish them often?

Took about 10 minutes per pipe with a rotary wire brush attached to a standard drill, so maintenance, if any, shouldn't be a big deal.

Vijay, you did wonderful work on your exhaust. The difference is huge. You should write to Milltek and tell them to polish their products before they ship them out to their customers.

Looks great. I am starting to like the quads. Is there a titanium version of these?

Taking a rag to the insides of the tips takes about an extra minute.
