The LG is fine - I chose it because it is very thin. The iPhone is a cool gadget but the phone quality is less than stellar. Both work fine with the Bluetooth in the RS4.

Blackberry 8320
Blackberry Pearl
any series 6 Sybian OS based Nokia, in my experience
iPhone
several of the S-E "W" series music phones

all have made stable BT connections and uploaded the phonebook.

worst I ever tried was the Treo 750

have one, used it, set it aside, dust gathers. I don't understand all the hype.

I'm so mad, I switched from Verizon to AT&T just to get the curve last month.

Overall I am not too satistfied with it either. Plus, I get no service in my house. I wish they would build cell towers on the water.

car wont recognize call has ended. two workarounds:

1: turn bluetooth off then of after every call (not a good driving option...)

2: pick up second phone and line and forward calls from one to the other while in the car.

I can't give up the i760 b/c of work. Through Verizon got the Razr V3m for free and 2nd line for $10/month.

If anyone wants option 1 for some reason, msg me as there's some free software for setting up shortcut buttons on your phone.

Based on yesterday's press releases, I'm going to go back to AT&T and get the Bold when it comes stateside.

I was considering getting this phone, but I really need to know if everything is paired up. Phone book, and call lists. How well does it work in your car?

Good part:

Connection during phone call is good and switching on/off the ignition never drops the call.

Bad part:

Nobody seems to care, but that's the mostly used feature to call someone from recent call log.

Unfortunately, the lists of missed, dialed and received call numbers are all synchronized in reverse order and cut to something like 10 or 20 numbers.
Curve has a very long call log, this means that those top 10 numbers that you see in your car were used like a few months ago.

My huge address book is synchronized just fine. No complaints, but because of its size it's impossible to find someone there using car's interface.

As a result I usually dial from the phone.

I would also wish this system to show me the contact name if the incoming call phone number matches an address book entry.

Otherwise, again I'm required to take out my phone to see who's calling before answering.

It's remarkable how just couple small glitches make this whole powerful phone display feature UN-FREAKING-USABLE!
