Took her in for 25k mile service and rec'd call that tie rod is rubbing front driver-side inside tire. Upon inspection, it was an inch wide and deep with the chords showing.

Another life lesson. . . inspect car more frequently. . .

BTW, I am not suggesting that Stasis or the oversized tires were the problem. Perhaps it had something to do with the way my car was repaired from my accident (some of you remember that. . .). In part, they needed to replace the sub-frame parts.

i think that may have been a contributing factor in McGyver's case....more loading of the suspension, etc. But it's just a tire, could have been much worse.

maybe some really light 18's with R-comp rubber...sell it to the wife as an early xmas present.
